Who We Are

Empowering Through Music

Gateway Music Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding opportunity through music. We provide high-quality instruction, mentorship, and performance experiences to K–12 students across the region—unlocking confidence, creativity, and connection.

What We Believe

We believe music is a pathway to personal, social, and academic growth. Whether it’s early childhood exploration or intensive ensemble coaching, we meet students where they are and help them thrive.

Sabrina’s New York Summer at the Sphinx Performance Academy

This summer, Sabrina took her musical journey to the next level—spending two unforgettable weeks in New York City at the prestigious Sphinx Performance Academy, held on the campus of The Juilliard School. Surrounded by gifted young musicians from across the country, she immersed herself in daily coachings, chamber music, and masterclasses, all while representing the heart of St. Louis with excellence and grace.

Her time at SPA wasn’t just about technique—it was about connection, growth, and discovering the joy of making music in community with peers who share her passion. We are beyond proud of Sabrina and excited for what’s ahead as she continues to rise.

The 2025 Piano Recital Was a Beautiful Success!

Our students lit up the stage with confidence, grace, and incredible talent at this year’s Gateway Music Outreach Piano Recital. From the tiniest fingers on the keys to our most advanced young artists, each performance was a testament to their hard work, growth, and love for music. We are so proud of every student who performed!

Gateway Music Outreach String Quartet Debut

The Gateway Music Outreach String Quartet made its debut with a performance of the first movement from Joseph Bologne’s String Quartet in G Major. This exciting milestone was made possible through a new partnership with the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis, which provides regular coaching to the quartet members in chamber music performance.

This concert was generously funded by the American Water Charitable Foundation and supported by Missouri American Water.
