Gateway Music Outreach Impact
Gateway Music Outreach provides access to affordable quality instrumental music programming for underserved youth in the St. Louis metropolitan area. We are a comprehensive instrumental music program designed to build an orchestra at the host site. Since our incorporation March of 2017 Gateway Music Outreach has provided programming to over 300 students through our Adopt-A-Musician Program, Community Youth Orchestra, Summer String Institute, Young Musicians Workshop Series and our Year-Round School and Community-Based Programs. More than 90% of the students in our programs were provided access to instrumental instruction for the first time. These budding musician's in kindergarten-8th grade received the following instructional services through Gateway Music Outreach:
- Individual, small and large group instrumental music instruction
- E-Learning Music Workshops and Master Classes with professors and teaching artists
- Open House, Concert or Community Performance Opportunities
- Character Education
- Field Experiences to the St. Louis Symphony, The Sheldon Concert Hall and Jazz St. Louis. Our instruction starts with beginners and progresses with students each year. This long-term program approach affords the opportunity for sustained impacts and measurements. There are numerous benefits at Gateway Music Outreach for students which include:

Gateway Music Outreach has also furthered its mission to open the doors of opportunity for personal, social and scholastic advancement of youth through music through the establishment of strategic partnerships with some the following entities including: Jennings School District, Arts And Education Council,
St. Louis Classic Guitar, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Life Arts Inc, Ameren Missouri , Des Lee Collaborative and Jazz St. Louis.
